This program will be held at The James B. Henry Center for Executive Development, which is located at 3535 Forest Road, Lansing, MI 48910.

Program Overview

This hands-on, three-day program, developed in conjunction with the National Association of State Procurement Officials, is designed to guide senior procurement leaders from state government through a structured process for determining gaps and establishing a vision and plan to address the long-term needs of their organizations.  The program will use discussions and small group activities to analyze procurement competencies and capabilities to help develop a tangible output that can be used to guide future actions.  Enrollment is limited to invited NASPO member organizations with approval.

Fee

The seminar fee includes tuition, educational materials, meals and lodging and will be coordinated through the National Association of State Procurement Officials.  Full tuition paid by NASPO for invited member organizations.

*NASPO requires that airline arrangements be confirmed at least three weeks prior to travel.  A welcome reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9.  The program will begin at 8 a.m. (Eastern Time) on Monday, August 10, and will conclude approximately 12:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, August 12.
