Program Description
The Spartan Growth Academy for Suppliers is presented by the Eli Broad College of Business, ranked #1 in Supply Chain Management/Logistics programs (U.S. News & World Report, 2022), #1 in Marketing Research programs and #7 among all Marketing M.S. programs (TFE Times, 2021), and Top 20 MS Program (TFE Times) (additional rankings below). The result of this collaboration is a strategic executive leadership program designed for existing and emerging c-suite executives of Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs). MINORITY SUPPLIER-FOCUSED EDUCATION
MBE executives face unique challenges daily. Decisions have implications for staff morale, financial solvency, and most importantly, organizational outcomes. Using a mixture evidence-based practices, this academy helps executive leaders excel even further in a complex, dynamic environment.
During this program, participants will gain skill mastery in business modeling, customer diversification, supply chain management, strategic negotiations, business data management, and more. These core skills are all approached from an MBE’s perspective, and participants will be able to immediately apply these skills using a work-based project that continues throughout the duration of the academy. The latest developments in marketing will also be discussed, as will successful financial models in modern organizations.
Content in the Growth Academy for Suppliers is facilitated by experienced Michigan State University professors and external partners.

- C-suite executives from Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) with annual revenues of $1M or higher.
- Diverse business owners currently participating in the Apple Impact Accelerator.
